IIOP O&P Assistant Training Course

The International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics (IIOP) offers an accelerated, hands-on pathway for licensed allied health professionals to become Certified Orthotic Assistants and/or Prosthetic Assistants.
This program is designed for individuals who currently hold a nationally recognized certification AND are licensed in an allied health profession, including:
Medical Assistants
Athletic Trainers
Physical Therapists / Physical Therapist Assistants
Occupational Therapists / Occupational Therapy Assistants

Cost: $6,000.00
Registration: Single Discipline Track
To qualify for registration of this course you must meet all requirements for eligibility under Pathway 3 of the ABC Assistant Eligibility.
Requirements for registering for the O&P Assistant Training Course are:
High School diploma, GED certificate, college transcript or WES evaluation
Completion of 3 semester hours in each of the following courses: Human Anatomy, General/ Fundamental Physics, Medical Terminology
Currently hold a nationally recognized certification in a related allied health profession (Ex: Medical Assistant, Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist/ PTA, Occupational Therapist/ OTA) or who have completed the Century College Orthotic & Prosthetic Clinical Applications Advanced Certificate
