Tonay Aragon & Addison Littleton - Student Blog 3/16/26

Hey Everyone,

The Spring 2026 cohort has officially begun our journey here at IIOP as Teal Team 12. Over the past several weeks, we started building the foundation of our studies through anatomy and physiology. We then continued into neuroanatomy to develop a deeper understanding of the human body, along with the various pathologies we may encounter as future clinicians in the orthotics and prosthetics field.

Outside of the classroom, our cohort has also enjoyed spending time together by checking out the Tampa Bay community. One of the highlights of the semester so far was experiencing Gasparilla here in Tampa. It was a fun opportunity for our class to celebrate one of Tampa’s biggest traditions with our faculty and other cohorts!

As we move forward in the program, we are beginning our Pathway to CPO class and are excited to continue learning more about the profession and what lies ahead in our journey. We have all enjoyed our first semester so far and are looking forward to everything we will continue to learn here at IIOP!
