Cost of Attendance

What is your “Cost of Attendance - Your Budget for Borrowing”

Cost of Attendance is the Financial Aid Office’s best estimate of the total allowable cost to attend a program at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics. The full “Cost of Attendance” budget includes tuition, required fees, books, and projected average living/personal expenses, based on a four-semester program.

Students are billed directly for tuition and required fees. Students are responsible for securing housing, meals, transportation, and other personal expenses.

Cost of Attendance Budgets are updated annually.  Use your semester start date to calculate your cost of attendance for one semester and your entire four semesters of attendance.  Each cohort has their own Cost of Attendance Budget.  If your start date is not shown here, please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Additional Cost Consideration (Professional Judgment - Approval Required)

Upon request, the student Cost of Attendance may be increased for the following reasons:

  1. Additional mileage or travel expenses, if daily travel exceeds 10 miles per day.

  2. Childcare dependent costs, with proof of expenses.

  3. Additional educational costs not included in COA, if required for attendance.

  4. Unusual housing costs, if lower cost housing option is not available.

If you are seeking an increase to your Cost of Attendance budget, please contact the Financial Aid Office.  Your total loans cannot exceed your approved COA budget.
