Addison Littleton - Student Blog 8/25/26

We officially wrapped up our second semester at IIOP with Orthotic Management of the Spine! Throughout this course, we learned about orthotic treatment options for a variety of spinal and cranial conditions. It was a great way to finish the semester and continue building our clinical and fabrication skills.

After a short break, we are officially back and beginning our third and final in-person semester at IIOP! Reaching our third semester is a big milestone, and we are ready to make the most of the time we have left together at IIOP.

We are starting the semester with Clinical Research, where we will learn more about the research process and the different study designs used to answer questions within O&P. This course focuses on understanding how research supports evidence-based practice, improves patient outcomes, and helps clinicians make informed decisions. We look forward to sharing more as we make our way through our final in-person semester!
